When I found out Jasmine Star was going to actually speak at this months Smug Mug, it was like going on a first date….what am I going to wear? How should I sit? She is absolutely uber talented and one of the funnest and most spirited speakers I have seen. Her smile and personality are infectious… Having her in front of you makes anyone think they can do this…. I want to personally thank her for coming out on a Thursday and talk to all us aspiring and professional photographers(and Makeup Artists!!!) about surviving in the crazy wedding industry. We love it, but it can definitely have its ups and downs. Thankfully I have been blessed to have utterly AMAZING brides to work with! I got the chance to meet so many wonderful people there! I heard my friend Karen got to hang out with Becker and others and saw a 12 midnight screening of Men Who Stare at Goats. Poor thing, I think she was pretty tired the next day! Thank you again Jasmine, you are a source of inspiration to us all!  Once again we were at the beutiful Mesa Verde Country club in Costa Mesa!
